Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs, CO is one of my favorite locations to take photos. I’ve been very fortunate to find a variety of birds and animals there. The main parking lot is located off of Vindicator Drive on the northwest side of town.
Just off to the side of the parking lot is a small, marsh-like area. Many red-winged blackbirds congregate there. They’ve been known to fly menacingly overhead, and even dive bomb spectators, if they feel their nest is threatened.
