On two separate occasions at Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs, Co, I was able to capture images of both hummingbirds and rattlesnakes. Quite the contrast, to be sure.
This slithery fellow warned me I was getting to close to him while he was trying to sunbathe on a relatively overcast day. Fortunately, he was more docile as I took pictures of him with my G9 and 100-300 Mark II telephoto lens.
